The first, and the one that I have watched at least a hundred times is:
The Sound of Music
I love this movie. It made me happy as a child and still does everytime I watch it. The Baron von Trapp singing Edelweiss....A man's man.
The second is the latest Lars von Trier film:
Antichrist
I really liked this movie. It wasn't really the graphic violence, sexual abuse and emotional torture that got me, but rather the colors and sounds. The cawing of the crow.
I wonder how such opposite movies can strike the same chords within me?
